23. Dreaming of Home

He dreamed of Peacetopia. It was a perfect place, a fantasy world where every wish comes true. A pastel-colored paradise of beauty and wonder and peace for all. And there was a woman waiting there for him.

"Do I know you?" he whispered, as he was drawn uncontrollably forward. He was not sure he had ever seen her before, and yet...

"You have always known me," she replied. And he suddenly knew that she was right. "Hiara pirlu," she whispered.

"Resh kavawn," he answered.

She held out her hand, and when their fingers touched, he felt the heavens and the earth stir, and all around them gentle breezes whispered secrets as it caressed them in warm breaths of tender passion.

They gazed into each other eyes a moment, and his heart was full and peaceful, and then they walked onwards towards an ivory castle in the sky that looked out on the perfect land that was theirs alone.

He sighed and closed his eyes, and tears of joy began to fall, for he knew in his heart he was going home.
